6 months after the klf burned 1,000,000 of their own money the national lottery was launched in Britain.
I remember the fever and the excitement that gripped the nation. Everyone fixated on the 6 lucky numbers and the possibility of salvation. With a million pounds EVERYTHING would be alright, all your problems would vanish, life would be eternal bliss, "it could be you" The KLF burned the material dream and challenged all of us to WAKE UP...........

It's so funny, you can really see they're desperately trying to get money back "selling cells for a quid each" The two of them just seem like desperate losers, especially Bill looking annoyed standing around with the suitcase. Don't get me wrong I find them hilarious as most people who understand the KLF/KFoundation, but this was a publicity stunt that backfired. They're regretting it now.

Woman in pink top is absolutely fucking clueless. The thing was a stunt, and it backfired, end of!

At the time it might have been a failed publicity stunt, but I suppose a bit like the illumination that "money" is just well coloured kindling has added meaning a decade later.

It might've been a failure then, but now it's history. It's a chapter in the mystique of the KLF. It's a factoid known the world around. I think, in that respect, it's meaning has become one of success.

You are wrong they just want it to be known, and people to understand what they did.
