Yeah thats true, but the outside conditions have to be perfect (aka Saltflat). You realistically can get maybe to 180mph.

The new ZR1 has a governor at 210mph......first vette to actually have one I think

Corvettes dont have governors on them... and they never will!

I put royal purple racing oil in my stock C5 corvette and it tops out at 237 mph now... Its incredible how this stuff works

It should with the governor removed or tuned out. But with the factory tune it wont run that fast.

ok just checking because ive read the 04 C5 Z06 (my vette) maxes at 198 mph

Im am speaking of the stock c5 coupe, 345 bhp until the 50th anv model that came with 350. The Ls1 engines really made around 380+ at the crank because a stock C5 would dyno around 305-310 at the wheels just as an SS Camaro. But yea the coupe was registered at 175 but could run 180mph.

ummm i dont think so ..... turbos dont make a whining noise ive been around thousands of turbocharged cars factory or aftermarket turbochargers dont whine they hiss ( whistle )
