Little Ilford School makes BSF campaign video - Teachers TV

Pupils at a London school which has lost its Building Schools for the Future (BSF) funding have made a video to lobby the government for new facilities. Little Ilford School in Newham discovered in July that it would receive no funding for new buildings, despite having taken part in a 5-year consultation. Under the previous Labour government Little Ilford had been promised £36m to replace every one of the school's buildings. The school says the Government's announcement that the plans were to be scrapped came just days before their final planning application was to be approved and submitted.
