MAY 21 2011 IS JUDGEMENT DAY!

"Alone he fought against his own dark passions...against the taboos of an outraged world...knowing that the shocking truth could ruin his career...destroy his marriage!" (From movie poster)

This is a fascinating film and Monty gives an excellent performance as Dr. Freud. I'm quite a fan of this movie! There is much to be appreciated, from the amazing cinematic style with it's perfectly framed scenes, to the story itself which unfolds like a mystery. I particulary enjoy the clues that have been sprinkled throughout the movie. Some are more obvious than others and on Part 14 of 14 I've listed some of the more curious ones that I noticed (Freud fans, please offer additional clues that are not overt, I'd love to discuss.)

Starring Montgomery Clift, Susannah York, and Larry Parks. Directed by John Hutson. (1962) NY Times Critics Choice.

  • the stile of this scenario isn't much different from the "Lenin in October". it's simple like a soap opera.

  • I studied Psyk in college for 2 years. Frued analyzed mostly middle aged, wealthy women. Later when Carl Jung took presidence over Frueds work he said " Frued was not accurate. He said nobody can be cured of a psychological condition, with hypnosis." So what did I learn?

Use you're own judgement,. Jung could also be wrong,. ??

  • so did U get judged on judgement day? or was it poor judgement on ur part?

  • I Love It, I'm a psyc student

  • I love psychoanalysis. thanks for uploading

  • I love this stuff; I just wish I had more time...
