In the exhibition shed at Oxenhope Station, on the Worth Valley Railway, I came upon this small band with a gorgeous blonde singer.... RUTH
There was a bar with forty different beers in honour of the occasion - Forty years of the Worth Valley Railway.
The trumpet player/bandleader is a guard on the railway and this new venue has had concrete added between the rails and a carpet fitted. After the Gala, the veteran Pullman coach will be returned to its usual position, once the carpet is lifted.
