  • Movies ripping off movies, what's new?

  • Never in the history of movies has one been ripped off more blatantly than this movie. Play Misty For Me and Fatal Attraction are identical except the fact that Dan Gallager had a wife and kid and Donna Mills was the substaitue for Dan's wife. I hope Clint got some residuels from the 1987 version.

  • Jess Walter got jobbed for an Oscar nom for this role. She was scary as hell.

  • This movie seems to have been with me all my life. I can remember seeing it for the first time on tv as a 16 yr old in 1979 and loving every second of it. This opening made a huge impression on me and everyone was talking about this in class next day. Great stuff and it still stands up. Incredible! But, hey, that's Clint.

  • One of the best - VERY BEST - films from my teenage years.

  • Damn.....I LOVE this intro ever since i was a youngster!!!

  • @Nabelnoir LOL Thanks for the correction!! Reminds me of the wrong version of The Hollies song, "She was a long cool woman ina flak vest..." Actually I thought the lady was kind of hot. She was a thirties matineee idol I read some where. Kindest regards and on March 6th, "Remember the Alamo!" Headed downtown SA for the dawn ceremony.

  • @Kharkovkid I believe the line went "She couldn't get laid in a Leper Camp!" Although I bet a bunch of many lumberjacks might have not liked her either.
