the movie was def accurate to the book
-
it was great, and i also cant wait for the blu ray
-
and i agree I was growning at the sex scene because Silk Specter was soooooo bad that Sally seemed decent and Dr. Manhattan seemed like a genius at work, and Rorschach is god.
let them show the mystery disc,
we'll take it too the shine.
then we unseal that fabled mystery disc,
and unleash the phoenix inside.

I was transported to a far away land,
to a world where monster's rule.
Play the game like an ace,
now we're in this place,
to save the monsters from the evil Moo.
My dad really liked this movie and say it as a good story, not a good comic book movie, a great story in general. so it did it's job and got my dad interested in reading my copy of Watchmen in his spare time. So it's good to anyone but fanboys of the comic.
BECAUSE I know what you really look like Kaleb that "MUAH MUAH MUAH" to your dog became an incredibly hilarious moment.
I didn't get to see Watchmen yet. I'm definitely excited now to see it Tuesday, because you're a very hard critic when it comes to movies.

No no, it's not that I'm a hard critic, I just have strange tastes (usually). It was a really good movie though, and I can't wait for the Extended Cut to come out on DVD and Blu-Ray.

I will admit,I am one of those Harry Potter geeks who compare it to the books but at the same time I look at them as films and not as adaptations. And there are moments when I think "thats wrong,it didnt happen but it was epic so who cares".I think movies that are based off of books should be looked at as movies and not adaptations.

Whenever anyone goes to see a movie based on something that they hold in high regard, there's going to be alot of comparisons... though I think it's unfair to the film. For example, I thought Order of the Phoniex was a good movie even though they cut out a good portion of the book. I agree though, they should be looked at as stand alone products. If you don't like the film, you'll always have the book.

Just want to state that it was David Hayder and Alex Tese who adapted the story, he was the writer. I thought it was good, I think Zach Snyder fucked up a bit of it, but it was good. I think Alan Moore will still hate the shit out of it, but it did a good job. I really disagree on the ending of it to be honest.

:) Well, to each their own I suppose. I personally thought the ending was the strongest point of the film (as well as the book).
