OMG, I Thought Boris Kitten Died!

Boris Kitten went missing for SIX days and nights. Despite our calling and searching he was nowhere to be found. We thought for sure he was dead, killed by a local Coyote.

Lo and Behold, tonight he appeared, intact and well, though quite a bit thinner and rattier.

I AM SO HAPPY!

I adore this cat.

I adopted Boris Kitten, a Russian Blue mix, from our local Animal Control Shelter 4 1/2 years ago, when he was 3 mos. old.

Boris insists upon going outdoors, to my chagrin. When we try to keep him indoors, he rips out our window screens and escapes.

Boris is also allergic to "Something in the air," according to the vet. He gets monthly anti-allergy shots, is always on Advantage, and has special food (Innova's Evo). Yet his fur still looks crappy. Still, I love this cat.

Your local Shelter/Humane Society/ASPCA houses the cutest, most loving pets in the world!

I love how YouTube connects us: Me in US Florida, and you in Holland.

I looked for Boris on the side of the road when he went missing, hoping he was NOT hit by a car.

Boris is spending most of his time indoors these days, thank goodness. Such a snuggle fluff!

Aww! Boris Kitten was lost?! Outside is very scary! I'm glad little Boris is fine!! :D He's still SOOO cute!!! Coyote's are scary! I'm glad a coyote didn't do anything to Boris Kitten! :) Give Boris Kitten a hug for me! Hehe :)

No, didn't think so.

Poor Boris is still, 2 days later, chasing me about the house and crying loudly when he can't find me.

I can't imagine (wish I could!) what happened to him or what he saw when he went missingl

Love this vid and Boris kitten!!

We have 5 cats...all were abandoned, the newest one was declawed and dumped outside!! I just don't understand how people can be so cruel! Rescues make the best pets. It's almost like they know what you've done for them.

I consider myself slightly rugged and I would like to hink of myself as manly. My cat Lou was missing for a couple of days and was found by people across town. They called just as I was trying to accept life without him. When I held him again tears flowed down my cheeks like a broken faucet. Glad Boris made it home, he's beautiful.

I think he's glad to be back...though for a minute I thought I saw "stop taking my picture" but when I backtracked it was gone.
