???Nat...Nat!
There was a blinding light that became brighter and brighter.And sounds started to get louder.
Nat was wondering to himself if this is what dieing is like.
???:WAIT!HE is coming around!
Nat let out a groan and then his eyes opened.It was blurry but then his eyes focused and he could see Alex.
A:Hey Nat!
N:WHat?*his voice cracked*Whats going on?I'm supposed to be dead.
Alex's forehead creased in concern.
A:Um...No.
N:But I was in a car accident.I had horrible brain damage.
A:Must of been a dream.
N:SO I wasn't in an accident?
A:Oh you were.Lucky too.You only came out with a broken leg which has shocked us all.Two semis and a van.Geez.
Nat sat up.He saw his cast and then everyone sitting around his bed.There was Qaasim,Thomas,David,Cooper,ALex, and Laura.No Rosalina.
Laura:I'm so glad you're ok!*she hugged him tightly*
N:Ow.
Laura:*she let go*I'm sorry.
N:No its fine.I'm just sore.
Laura:I bet you are.That was some car accident.
A:Yeah,Your car was totally destroyed.
T:But they let me keep your steering wheel.
David grinned and held it up.
N:So whats been going on?
A:Nothing really.We've just been waiting for you to wake up.The doctor said there is no real damage except your leg.But once the nurse comes in to check you out then you can leave.
N:Cool.
C:You know I feel really guilty.
N:Why?
C:Well,we were all really mad when you didn't show up at the meeting.
Alex grimaced and Thomas and David looked away.
C:We...Well we were making fun of you behind your back because we were so mad.And then we found out you were in the hospital because you've been in an accident.Now Ijust feel horrible.
N:It doesn't matter.*He said this but he was upset his friends were making fun of him*
C:It does matter and we are very sorry.
Everyone else nodded.
Laura:I'll be back.I've got something to do.
Qaasim who hasn't said anything at all stood up.
Q:I'm going to get something to eat.*he walked out*
T:He was the most upset out of all of us,besides Alex.
N:why?
D:Remember his grandfather died in a car accident a few years back.
N:Yeah,I remem...
Just then the nurse walked in and Nat was stunned into silence.
