  • But where can you buy it in St. Lucia?

  • @toniaugusta I'm afraid you can't buy it in St Lucia just yet, although that could change once our hotel and factory have been built. I haven't got full details just yet I'm afraid.

  • Wonderful story, especially as it originated from a customer in the Chocolate Tasting Club, I wonder if the mass market chocolate manufactures are as ethical and directly help those making them all the profits...

  • Their chocolate is more expensive as they pledge to buy the choclate from the growers at 30 - 40 % more than the world market prices. This is going direct to the growers.

  • I work for HC and i have never been more proud to work for a company that is so passionate in their staff they truly are incredible, the work you see here is small to the amount that is going on and it is incredible a true inspiration to the world.

    And Angus is a legend!

  • Currently "gnawing" my way through a caramellow slab....that's half a kilo of chocky......YUM!!!

  • Its a pity local entrepreneurs and farmers haven't taken the initiative to do the same.

  • It's great to see a chocolate company investing in the local community and re-developing the cocoa industry in St Lucia. Keep up the good work. Was very pleased to find out I don't have to fly to England to buy it anymore either! They now are in the US!

  • Never tried the chocolate from here but if it's anything like T&T's output then it's bound to be delicious. Interesting video.

  • This is quite a good video, great community participation however the authenticity and community participation will be more evident if emotions can be seen in the faces of the works as it relates to their feeling about the estate.

I was unable to see the faces of the workers, as the the camera seemed to zoom out when they were interviewed and to me that would speak a thousand words.

  • Chocolate from Hotel Chocolat is far and away the best on the market, really good quality

    Good work Angus
