Wow, exactly how freaking stupid are the people in this video!!!?!?! Do you realize that a slightly larger eruption would have thrown chunks of rock to where they were standing. Imagine being in that location when the 5 - 300 pound rocks start falling like rain. Its like reverse Darwinism, survival of the most idiotic!

It was not two americans that died here. They were four climbers with the most experience in Guatemala in that time. One of them was my father, Rafael Lopez, along with Reverend Edgar Valenzuela, Zudy Escobar, Mario Sosa. One of ther got to run about 600mts and was found dead, asfixiated. This is not a joke. It is Stupidity to do such things. Please do not take this as a tourism. dont climb it.
