Paul DeRienzo and Joan Moossy join Prof. Irwin Corey and Judge Shannon Taylor for an evening of fun and conversation with Professor Irwin Corey the World's Greatest Authority. Corey, a staple of late night TV in the 1950s and 1960s, debates veteran newsman and CNN founder Ted Kavanau on the Rosenbergs, Israel and American Communism. Corey is still active at 96 years old and one of the greatest comedians of his generation.
On Prof. Irwin Corey:
"One of the most brilliant comedians of all time" Lenny Bruce
"One of the funniest grotesques in America" Kenneth Tynan
I am 69 years old and he delighted me when I was so young (20?) that I didn't even know why. The spirit recognized and loved him but the brain said "What? WTF? This is nonsense!Shut up so I can hear!" But I learned.

Yeah, he used to be on the Steve Allen show when it was adjacent to the Hollywood Ranch Mkt. I met him at the Byrd's Nest in Silver Springs MD. I said "Hey Irwin...why did you let Gypsy Boots kick your ass so oftet on TV". Irwin said "That crazy M-----------r, he really hurt me a couple of times...I tried to run away from him but catch me". What a funny guy.
