For ABC's 1966-67 season, Thursday night was "Ladies' Night," with "Bewitched," "Love on a Rooftop," and "That Girl" airing back-to-back. Elizabeth Montgomery, Judy Carne, and Marlo Thomas filmed this cute promo for it on the "Bewitched" livingroom set. From http://www.harpiesbizarre.com/

  • Ah, the good old days of ABC, when Leonard Goldenson was president and Edgar J. Scherick was vice president of network programming.

  • TV people spoke so well in those days, pronouncing each word so precisely...I remember I had a little kid crush on Marlo Thomas lol.

  • @1969pontiac1 I read someone saying that Elizabeth Montgomery could have been an even bigger star than she was, but she chose not to play the "Hollywood game" to do so.

  • @DesiluTrek I've read that NBC originally aired BONANZA for the same reason...its first two seasons it was on Saturdays at 7:30, so RCA color TV retailers would have something to show potential buyers.

  • I totally agree!!! I do not like the new TV Land. There should be a classics TV Channel. Retro TV has some shows, but not many. There are many good old shows worth still seeing.

  • 3 BEAUTIES!!!

  • @unclebobunclebob Elizabeth hands down!!!! Both are beautiful, Lizzy was my first crush. I cannot believe she left us so soon. I have all 8 seasons of Bewitched on DVD, so Lizzy lives on. I will see her in heaven and have a million questions about the show!

  • I wish these shows were still on . I would watch them all again. Great line up

  • I never missed these 3 shows. I don't think love on a rooftop was on for very long, maybe one year. of course Judy later showed up on laugh-in, she used to dance in a bikini. I thought she was a really cute babe.

  • @69down lol ha yep

  • I guess Liz was lucky, she had 2 Dick's on the show...
