Earmarks are a joke and a tiny fraction of government budgets. The fact that these two were carrying on so much about them is laughable. In her defense, however, she did squash over 300 earmarks her first year in office as governor. If you really want to cut spending though, you need to do it through long-term entitlement costs. That's where the real money is and that is the 500 pound gorilla in the room that NEITHER candidate nor party will talk about. Both parties are the same. wake up.
