John Piper talks about false prophets. There are many churchleaders who tickle people's ears
and let them hear what they want to hear, but refuse to preach the biblical gospel. Sometimes
these preachers will be very moral, much like wolves in sheepclothes.

  • @SpcMedia21 IHOP is possible the most dangerous movement to our young people and believers in Christ. Someone need to stand against them.

  • @arnaldoachu

    also the IHOP movement

  • Wonder if he'll preach this at Saddleback against the biggest flatterer, smooth talker, deceiver, and false teacher out there -- Rick Warren.

  • Rob Bell, that is one that he is referring to.

  • And Rob Bell since it has been re-posted after his latest book.

  • @sarahmichelleross Your totally right. I just came out of a prosperity doctrine C3 Church and they taught that if u are wordly successful e.g a big CEO or Mega Church Pastor..... then people will see that God has blessed you with amazing wealth and success and they will want to know God also. The problem is you don't stick out because u look just the same as everyone else who is seeking fame and fortune and it people take salvation for the wrong reason.

  • I have met more Christians 'waiting' for God to bless them with worldly possessions.. waiting and waiting.. prosperity in the view of the world is obtaining 'things'......The essence of the Gospel is not what you can gain.. but what you lose.. you die to self.. and God is glorified.. How many people get 'saved' by the fact you have a $6k watch or a flashy car.... Do they come to Christ because they see the wealth you have and they want it to-because you told them that is what God has for them???
