@WatchItPlayed I think others may have said this as well, but I wanted to say that I like the fact that you leave in the rules mistakes and then correct them. This gives me an indication of how complicated the rules are and how smooth or tedious the gameplay is. My gaming partner is primarily my wife and if the rule are a rat's nest to figure out or explain I can forget about her getting into the game, regardless of how cool the theme might be.

@ibeholder12 Well, the bosses are all different, and it may help you to know any special weaknesses or strengths it has (that might influence what cards you drop if you are knocked out, or what cards you throw down the well, etc.)

Thanks for enjoying the series. Knowing it's helped you make more informed decisions about your gaming choices is one of the best compliments we can get. I know how hard it can be to assess a game before you get to try it!

It's probably just because I have never played this game, but I don't understand what the benefit is of being able to see the which boss card is being used before the other players get to. How is that helpful?

...Great videos! Your channel has both turned me off to some games I thought would be great for me, and turned me on to games I thought sounded boring. Also, it's great to see first hand how gaming allows you and your kids to hang out together. Keep the videos coming :-)

Its the family gaming show .... kay down to point Andrea doesn't have much to do and lucking at the boss tile could be useless so go searching for more monsters ..... Luke move up and just cepe going till u at least got 2 more levels up and the dad will be just running from the ogre ....

I didn`t saw it exactly but how many wound markers did you put on luke card? If im not mistaken i saw only one - and mummy got rot ability that means it hits for two. I know we should help Andrea but when i see game like this i prefer to help one who is kicked not one who is kicking. Use your necromancy ability and lvl up Rodney - then fight as much you can ignoring the treasures , there is good chance you will fight some undead monsters and gain couple of lvls.

Keep up the good work. Although I became kind of "suspicious" about Dungeon Run after the rules-episode, I more and more start to like it (again). Therefore: The goal of your show, which is aimed at not only presenting a game but also playing it, is achieved on this one. Thank you.

@TWKify ANother quick reply from the helpful designer. The monsters don't loom over knocked out Heroes, they go on the prowl for fresher meat!

@TWKify The rules say "Monsters may roam out of tiles with knocked out heroes." which I believe means the First Player can choose whether they roam out of tiles with knocked down heroes or not. But I'm checking on this too.

Haha! Really enjoyed this one! It looks like everyone is having fun. Well. Okay, most of the cast ;-). It's your fault the kids are so conniving!

Only four tiles left? (well, five, since Andrea wouldn't have been able to reveal that one, meaning Luke would have! Luke gets his tile, not Andrea!)

@WatchItPlayed Would the monster roam, since Andrea is knocked out? Or would it loom over her ominously?

@Jarax4 Confirmed from the designer, your understanding is correct. To correct it, we will take the inital roll against Andrea, which knocks her out (4 hits). Ignore her rolls against the War Altar, put her back on that tile, put Lukes revealed tile back on the stack and replace it with the Library and everything is fixed! Whew!

@Jarax4 Good news, heard back from the designer on this one. The attack doesn't happen. I'm in the clear :) Still clarifying the Free Attack rule from the War Altar - I suspect Andrea won't like the answer (why doesn't this bother me? :) )
