Are you getting rid of an old computer? If so, you need to make sure all your data is completely gone. Simply formatting your hard disk DOES NOT do this. This video shows you how to REALLY erase your hard drive where it can't be recovered again.

i usaly keep my hard hdds/ssds but if i did have to send a hdd i know how to delete everything except linux using cmd and i mainly use linux so i dont register haha

@UnitedWithDubstep NO, you will NOT keep your Windows 7. IT WIPES EVERYTHING from your hard disk. EVERYTHING. You will need to reinstall Windows 7.

@codelyokoblue No. The are of the drive where the information was saved will be overwritten multiple times with random data. It's gone for good.
