@5:00: How blind must the idiot in the pick-up and trailer be? A truck with full lights and sirens and he breezes on by!

i live in Rancho Cucamonga.
i think weve got some of the best looking fire trucks around.
white fire trucks, with reflective blue stripe on the side.
i always love to see them, theyre beautiful engines.

Why did the pioneer 3 fall apart?

@9751asd >>>---> I really don't know, but it may have been that ALF was starting to have financial problems and quality control may not have been as good as it should have been. But they were nice looking rigs. The old ALF Pioneer II did an outstanding job for several years after the III was laid to rest.

what is the difference between ALF Pioneer 2 and Pioneer 3 ?
TheUban123 1 year ago
@TheUban123 The 3's designated as Pioneer III was produced in the Mid 1970's and was a much better looking truck than the Pioneer II's. However, they did not last as long as the II's as you can see in my videos. Note that a II replaced the III at Station 11 for several years after the III fell apart.. You can tell a Pioneer II from a Pioneer I in that the II had dual headlights.

Oh, I don't know about that - Some of the old rigs were pretty darn good especially the Quality Monarches which were bought in 1987 and are still being used as reserve rigs today. In fact SFD firefighters say that the Quality Monarches were the best pumpers the city ever bought.
