Going through benzo (xanax) withdrawl right now. Was on 2 bars a day for 6 months. Have not had ANY sleep in the past 4 nights. Insane amounts of anxiety. HOW LONG IS THIS GONNA LAST

well iv been through both at the same time...i know what its like, im sick of you ppl telling me what its like.
benzo w/ds get into your bones but the worst thing is your mind...benzo withdrawl fuks with ya head.
heroin w/ds is truer hell and i dont think you have ever been through it...if you had, you wouldnt be sayn its a peice of cake.

Yes cold turkey can make you have a seizure. But that's a lot of Xanax, I think sometimes Xanax can induce a seizure, it's labeled it can...
IF you taper slowly, via Water Titration &c... risk of seizure is 0.

I had a seizure when I came down off of benzos. It happens, but I was an addict. I would take at least 6 bars a day minimum and the most I took in one day was a little over 20. I had a huge tolerance from almost a year of everyday abuse.
I have no clue if it happens in people who only take a small amount for strictly medical purposes. I have been put under the impression that seizures only happen from large tolerances and quitting cold turkey.

When someone builds up tolerance to the Benzos, you have 2 choices, get off, or updose, the longer you are on them, the harder it is to get off. Wizard is just a nick name, Big Pharma? Or afraid to come off the pills? you're one or the other.

From about 5,000 ppl who are coming off and have came off without Heart attack and seizure. Professor Ashton, I'm sorry are you a Doctor or in with Big Pharma. God help you if you are.
