Felix the Cat vs. Standstill

This is an old cartoon of "Felix the Cat", rearranged with the song "La mirada de los mil metros" by Standstill. I surely don't understand the Spanish lyrics, but I found this song most fitting to the story of Felix getting drunk and hallucinating. Since this is my first AMV, feel free to comment if you like it or not, so maybe I'm going to create another one soon. Have fun!

Nice election of video and of course the music. Standstill is our best band in Spain, and vivalaguerra the best spanish album in last ten years. In february they'll publish their next album. I knew they made tours in Germany but didn't know they had german fans.

Yeah, I they were somewhat familiar in Germany by the Time they published "Memories Collector", but after that they would only publish in Spain, maybe because they don't have a label in Germany anymore. I had to import "Vivalaguerra" from Spain (think one of the band members even send it by himself o_O), but it was worth the effort, it really is one of the best albums of the past few years.

I bought a t-shirt, and the LP from their web, and it's cool, you get a more personalized treatment.The fact is, they are pioneers here now, because they have no contract with industry and they do all alone by themselves or with friends. The promotions, recordings, videos, art, merchandising, manage concerts, myspace, facebook, etc... they've proved that it's possible living apart from industry, and you need only quality. Even they made some tour in Mexico and Philipines last year.
