the first problem with this video is that it portrays the 500 big polluters as evil. are you that naive that you do not realise that these 500 big polluters are also the 500 biggest employers in australia!
Secondly, I just cant get my head around this question. If carbon dioxide is a trace gas in the atmopshere, and 97% of it is naturally occuring, how is the final 3% of the worlds total contribution of carbon going to raise global temps so catastrophically?

what crap!

@KingDickAus90 Europe has a carbon price, which has been as high as AU$40 and is now at a low of around AU$12. It's expected to rise to ours by end 2012, and increase well beyond ours by 2015.
New Zealand also has a carbon price. California (35 million) is starting one in 2013. South Korea and South Africa too.
China is implementing a carbon price in several regions (pop: 250 million) by 2014.
King Dick, do you expect an extremely poor nation like China to act ahead of wealthy Australia?

Communist propaganda at its best. "let's get on with it!" yes, crippling the economy, putting people out of work, taxing people and all for no good reason.
Gillard sure is showing the world how to be a disgraceful lying bitch. I can't believe anyone would cross the street to piss on her if she was on fire after her election to power and then the introduction of a carbon tax!

What a load of left wing bullshit! My generation has been brainwashed almost completely into thinking that Australia putting a price on carbon is going to save the world. It wont make any difference and its not going to convince the big boys that they should have one too

You forgot the part where a majoirty of it goes to an oversea's party ... The UN ... Thanks for your bias video !!!

A.G.I.T.P.R.O.P. put into the mouths of babes.
@TehOwnerer999
Well reducing our carbon footprint isn't going to do much in the overall scheme of things but I'm hoping that this does work and companies choose to go green and other countries follow.
But unless some sort of global deal is struck where carbon is priced everywhere and wages +, outsourcing no longer becomes that beneficial and we start to make progress.
Honestly, I'm close to loosing my faith in humankind as it seems no one cares and the above theory is deemed unrealistic.

Second paragraph, basically, it totally kills your point. So maybe you should stop spreading this idiotic lie of yours about volcanoes emitting more.
