I feel a large bone in my left leg that seems to run from my buttock to my knee that moves, and clunks when I straighten my leg while lying down. Afterwards I get some pain in the lumber spine just above the left buttock. It does it several times. I can't figure out what it could be

Can si joint dysfunction be cured? I have been going through this for over a year and I'm at my wits end.

@redshaftedflicker In 85% of cases, it can- usually within 4-6 weeks. In 15% of cases (usually females w/ multiple kids), long-term self correction, especially prior to physical activity, is needed to keep the pelvis level.

Is there anyway to know on your own which way the sacrum is twisted. does it correspond with which side is painful?

@grymt14 Not always associated with the painful side. You'll need to get a professional to check your sacral alignment before proceeding.
