Jesse Morrell ARRESTED for PREACHING the BIBLE!

Normal, Alabama: Open-air preacher, Jesse Morrell was arrested at the Alabama university, A&M on November 5, 2009 for preaching the gospel, even though he had advanced permission to be there. If you're not a Christian, this should still bother you, because it is a clear violation of the Constitution's freedom of speech. This officer is a low-life scum-sucking pig - oops, sorry - hahahahaha, excuse the pun. I didn't mean to do that! He needs to be put on probation - time off work without pay! That'll teach him!

Why not just do as the New Testament Christians did and "shake the dust off your feet" and leave and move on to people who actually want to listen to you? All your high tech "entrapment preacher gear" is "neato cool".. but is all this lawsuit talk a good witness to the Gospel? I think not. You may be legally in the right, but as far as a Christian witness of humility and meekness, you fail the test.

This is about Constitutional rights. Watch the update posted inside the video. I find it quite offensive that people think Christians should be pacifists, and we should allow people to walk all over us, beat us up, and do whatever they feel like doing just because we are Christians. America is a free country because our founding fathers - who were Christian - fought a bloody war to protect our rights. Standing up for our rights is not "un"Christian.

@FireThunderTV Brother, we should "let people run over us." Ever heard of turn the other cheek? Many of the founding fathers had a mixture of both Christian and maybe even freemasonry ideas. For example, scripture tells us to pay taxes and submit to authorities, they disobeyed both of these. Christians do not "fight bloody wars." You are not a Roman catholic in the crusades are you? We are called to lay down the sword, and take up the cross, and to love even our enemies.

These street preachers have the spirit of the Pharisees. In fact Jesus scolded the Street Preachers for aggressively going out and winning converts and placing heavy burdens on them.

The officer arrested you for being a disorderly nuisance in a public place. How would you react if someone were to stand on the steps of your church and preach against you.
