Small and perfectly formed:
The Johnston C201 compact sweeper is the latest evolution of Johnston's class leading compact design.
Designed around three key objectives as required by our customers, the C201 achieves high productivity, low cost of ownership and minimal environmental impact - all delivered in one package.

Four-wheel steer option:
A C201 Compact with the 4-wheel steer option reduces the turning circle to a class leading 3760mm kerb to kerb.

Leaf Nozzle box
The C201 comes with an option of heavy duty castors which complement the four wheel steer, also giving faster, smoother direction changes without affecting suction performance.

Tyres
The C201 Compact is fitted with Continental RV20 tyres, for heavy duty working, designed to reduce whole life tyre cost whilst improving comfort. The design is ideal for kerb climbing and gives a large footprint, allowing the sweeper to operate over a range of paved surfaces.

Articulated brush arms:
The C201 features independently controlled front brushes. From the high visibility cab, an operator has unrivalled control of the brush speed, position and ground pressure.

Low level of brush arms:
The unique sweep-gear configuration and reverse sweeping feature ensures efficient cleaning around obstacles with complete cleaning of 90° corners and enclosed spaces.

Wanderhose:
The Wanderhose option is a 3.7m suction hose for extended cleaning reach.
Turntable mounted for manoeuvrability and access to areas next to the roadway.

High pressure hand lance
The C201 high-pressure hand lance option has a 10m recoiling hose for convenient operation. The hand lance is also equipped with both a fan and a pencil nozzle to deal with all types of dirt.

Tipping
The 1.8m³ (hopper volume) capacity and 1.5m discharge height is ideal for tipping into skips or bins. Also with high visibility automatically engaging
safety props fitted as standard, the hopper reaches its tipping height in complete safety.

Impact Protection
The sweeper brush arms include forward impact shock absorbers and a replaceable 'Shear Pin' which averts potentially expensive damage. The 'Shear Pin' can be conveniently replaced within minutes by the operator.

Well i will be first to congratulate Johnston Sweepers with all the new tech on board the new C201 4WS.

But has the suction power increased as i feel that's been a let down in the past.
