Keep trying. Yes, you should ride the board and get used to that. Falling is also a big part of skateboarding, unfortunately. Watch out for little rocks, I'm sure you have learned that already. I'm not very good, but it's been 10 years since I wanted to do it. I'm 23 now and skating alot again with my brother. It's as fun or more so now and we r better in ways now. B safe and God bless.

i started like that... and im still no good but i do have some advice :)
first of, before you try to ollie, just get used to riding the skateboard, skate about and try to skate long distances without falling of, when you get used to skating try and practice turning smoothly, when your completely comfortable skating then practice the olly xD hope i helped a little
