Enjoy Dhokle made with fresh Guvar(Cluster beans). Or make dhokle with your favourite vegetable such as spinach, pigeon peas, or come up with your very own suitable vegetable and enjoy.

    Hello

If I don't add more water, it is not going to cook dhoklis added in this recipes. It is very important to cook them since they are made from flour. Regarding accent and english, I am learning and if you see recent videos, you will see improvements, old videos are not good, I admit it but I have worked hard to make them better and better....hope people understand.....

  • I think ajwain/ajmo and aniseed are not the same. Can you please be more specific whether it is aniseed you use or ajwain?

    Thanks

    Hi

In this dish, cluster beans is not the only ingredients. When you cook only cluster beans, yes you don't need water. But for this particular recipe, Dhokli(gatta) made from flours are added and they can't be cooked without enough water. If you make without water, think what's gonna happen....LOL

  • Sorry I disagree with your adding that much water. The guvar should be cooked/steamed in the oil without adding too much water. Phushi nu shaak and guvar are done the same way and also can be done in the oven if you don't like it on the stovetop. The steam has to do the cooking not the water, your not making soup.
