this ranger is 100% beast. and with all the cool beastly features. soo much beast to handle. suprises me how powerful it is every time. it never stops, slow but steadily will climb a tree if you put it up too it. check it, my dog, Doger in the back. this trail was so steep shes practically standing up on the tailgate! this was a trail for only atvs. no vehicles were goin up this with 4x4. a lil over 4k ft elevation. near los padres forest soda lake

  • Ya low gear.. with ease. Ive done it easy in high as well but your right def alot easier on the belts and everything. Youve got the 6 seater? Whats your top speed? How you like it? Any changes in components from the '11?

  • Yes, its a 6 seater. It goes around 35mph but I think it's getting stronger or faster as the engine gets broke-in more. The 2012 has a few minor changes. Better heat shielding up front to keep radiator heat from getting in the cab. Also metal seat pins. And I think they changed the clutch ratio a little.

  • Nice hill. Were you in Low gear? The Diesel Ranger is a beast in Low gear. It's easier on the belt too, to be in Low gear instead of High, going up hills. Love my 2012 Diesel Crew.
