A video of the third annual Lane Bryant "Cacique" lingerie fashion show, from February 2002. This is the second of two parts featuring the runway show itself, with a third part comprising press coverage of the event.

Lane Bryant staged a total of four Cacique presentations from 2000-2003. Although they were popular events, customers repeatedly asked that the shows feature fuller-figured models (something that didn't happen until the last, best staging, in 2003).

Models taking part in this show include Lara Johnson, Kate Dillon, and Mia Tyler, along with celebrity models Anna Nicole Smith and Carré Otis. The heavy metal group Kiss provided the music.

Compare the best images of plus-size models (seen at sites like http://www.judgmentofparis.com ) to the androgynous waifs who dominate the runways today, and you'll find that the fuller-figured models are actually far more attractive.

I am searching for a Full Figure PlusModel in the ones on the runway & I see none. Most of these models look about a size 10 at best. This is Plus size in the industry BUT Lane Bryant does not carry a size 10 the last time I checked.I see a FEW 10 or may 12's in the mix and a 16 at 12:26 but not enough Full Figured models at all. I think the show should have been filled with 14+ sizes to be realistic. I am a smaller plus models and i CANT wear Lane Bryant clothing at all cause im too small!!!
