I know it's confusing, but please vote for WAR @ wwwrockhallcom so these gentlemen may finally be inducted into the 2012 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They did not leave WAR, the WAR name was stolen from them, but they ARE WAR and always will be WAR, Jerry Goldstein be damned!

@lowriderbandfan It's fucking wrong. I grew up in the early 70''s so this was my era of music. The IRONY here is in the title of one of their bigger hits, "Why Can't We Be Friends?" Guess they're just words to J. Goldstein who can take his WAR name and shove it up his ass. It's not the name that makes the music, but, I'm sure some people are confused as I was. Thanks for the clarification my friend.

@msk7046, This is WAR, but without THEIR WAR name. Jerry Goldstein OWNS the other band (which is the cover band) and is using the WAR name that he stole, for his own profit, while the OG's of WAR in this video can't even say or post anywhere the NAME WAR that THEY made famous or Jerry will have them in court again. Ain't that a bitch?!!

I absolutely LOVE these gentlemen and the awesome music they gave us. Over 40 years as a BROTHERHOOD and they still got that WAR SOUND!! Why wouldn't they? They ARE WAR!! You won't hear them play music from other bands to fill out their concert sets. Sounds like something a COVER band would do. I'll stick with what is REAL, the OG's of WAR, THE LOWRIDER BAND.
