She really IS an amazing person it seems inside & out. I believe that she withdrew from the music industry because the old Hollywood perverts at the top wanted more "sex appeal" from her when she was ALWAYS about the music & the talent. Now-a-days we see what's become of "entertainment" that Deb chose to stay far away from. I say good for her, she didn't sell her soul for gold in the end. The thing is you NEVER hear about her dad! What's his story & why isn't he ever mentioned at all? Just mom?

@ReformedOrder yeah u r right about her dad....on her first two albums her parents do leave a special message on both Electric Youth and Out Of The Blue.....during the third album her parents split......Gibson never really brought that issue to the limelight....she does always thank her dad and step mom on her albums she puts out...but her mom is the manager and she usually gives her thank you to her biggest supporter

Does she sing these days? As a BIG fan of her, I want to know if she will be releasing any new ablum soon. I have all of her LPs, SPs, CDs you name it. I miss her voice. I just can't follow today's music. I am more into 80s and early 90s stars and their songs which is my kind of tunes.

@Grandam1999 Yes she still makes music.....after her time with Atlantic Records, she did an album called Think With Your Heart, also she did a cd called "Deborah".....the singles Only Words and Only In My Dreams ( 97 Mix ) came from those....also MYOB has two singles...and she has released a single called Naked..check ebay or amazon.com for music under Deborah Gibson

Who doesn't like Debbie Gibson. She is smart, talented, beautiful. I think what she said at the end is a very good point...she is not much older than the superstars of today but she has lived a life a lifetime more than them. She paved the way for these " Divas ". She doesn't get enough credit. And she is MUCH better than the supposed talent of today. Debbie Gibson you proved to EVERYONE that " Anything Is Possible " Continued best of luck to you.
