ALS-Communication - Tobii

On a world basis, more than half a million people suffer from ALS.
ALS, also known as Lou Gehrigs Disease, is a neuro muscular disease, which rapidly causes paralysis of all muscles in the body. One of the consequences of this is that persons with ALS quickly lose the ability to speak. As a result, efficient communication aid becomes paramount.

This film is dedicated to demonstrating some of the communication aid technologies currently available on the market -- and to showing why these technologies are invaluable to people with ALS as well as to their family and friends.

my dad died from ALS we had this machine. It is very expensive many people can not afford this and it should be easier for people to get acces to it specially people with ALS. We donated our machine after he passed it was his wish and he really tried to find a cure forhimself but this was such a good aiding tool it should be available to everyone who needs it

@AJMachineBlast there is cure for ALS in costa rica. they use stem cell to treat it. if not fully cured it can stop the progression of the disease. :)
