  • I wonder what color she used for the sand. Did anyone hear her say? I also wish I saw the part where she painted the shadow.

  • For the sand color I used quinacridone red, aureolin yellow and a touch of cobalt blue. For the shadows under the bird, I wanted a darker value, so I used a darker blue (ultramarine) with the same red and yellow, using more of the dark blue with them.

  • I use a lot of different brands. Cheap joe's has American Journey brand, which are professional quality at low prices. Winsor Newton are always good, too.

  • what's this "magic nib" you use to apply the mask? where would i find it?
