Zoe Kirk managed to grab a quick chat with John, between performances, where he tells us about his many years working with director and producer, Kenneth Alan Taylor, his panto history and what it is that keeps drawing him back each year...

Mother Goose runs until January 22 at Nottingham Playhouse. Tickets are £22, £20.50 concs, and £18 for children. Last night tickets are £25.
