That made absolutely no sense... I thought Google was better than that.

    Here's what he actually said:

"In Venderburgen a big wind turbine collapsed. See how it spins really fast and then flies apart? Here's a piece of it laying on the ground. Stay tuned for more reports."

Believe it or not, I got all that and never heard the language before!

Yes i tought so too... What a big loss of energy but... They could adapt some special dump cables for 10 000 homes :o(

  • @billmalta1

I believe those units use sort of a geared hydraulic brakes.

  • do they use dummy load or have like giant disk break??

  • Press "CC" twice, click "Transcibe Audio," click "ok," read the subtitles. ;)

  • @bdist nope, the techs bypassed the safety system, while doing routine maint., they needed to spin the rotor and left the blades pitched, the wind was too high and they didn't get it locked out fast enough and it ran away, resulting in catastrophic failure.

  • @Lunachan27 Not offended, just pointing it out.

  • @SoWhat1221 I'm sorry if I offended you I thought that was what they spoke. Sorry.

  • @Lunachan27 Dutch is what they speak in Holland.

    In Denmark, we speak Danish.
