I once wanted one. But when I got one as a kid, I soon came to understand how tragic it was to write little text messages instead of talking to your friends, and playing stupid games instead of enjoying the wonders of the natural world. And since I rarely used it more than once a year, I got rid of it. And I'm glad I did, as for every day that passes, I see people more and more wasting away their lives on their cell phones. Even my own family. And it's sad to watch.

yes it is very sad to see so many people sucked into their machines. when i pass them, i think, "unavailable," as in unavailable for any type of real connection
