would you recommend mac 188 or sigma ss188?? i heard ss188 sheds alot and its flimsy then heard mac 188 wasnt as dense?

I think it's based on preference. The ss188 hasn't shed enough to be a problem for me. I have had the ss188 for months and so far I am happy with it and will not plan to get the MAC 188 anytime soon. I will use the money towards something else. So I would recommend ss188 if you wanna just try out the brush, because you may not like it so don't waste money on on a MAC unless you know FOR SURE you'll like the 188.

For the larger brushes, when used with blush/foundation, I spot clean them with MAC's brush cleaner every time I'm done using it then I wash them with Baby shampoo once a week, and the smaller ones I clean them regularly either after every use or every other use. It may sound like a lot of work, but that way I can be assured that the brushes will last much longer, plus I don't want bacteria build up which can cause break out so worth the extra 5 minutes a day cleaning them. EXCELLENT QUESTION!

the 188 brush from MAC is also my favorite for applying blush.

MAC is having a sale today only for 20% off everything. You have to use the promo code "sumo". I ordered the 188 brush. I'm also on the waiting list for sigma too but I couldn't wait anymore so I ordered their newest 6 set which isn't as many brushes as the 12 set, but I don't think I need everything in the 12 set anyways since I have most of them in my MAC brushes.

I just bought EnKores most expensive brush, the stipple and swirl brush and I was really disappointed at how tiny it is, its the same size as the small mac 188 duo fibre, only the shape is different, its not flat on top its rounded. Anyway it is NOT good for stippling the face because it is too small, I can maybe use it for my cheeks but really for the price, he's charging way too much considering his brushes are not known and the brushes are vegan which means cheaper to make. I wont be back.

your blush brush white fibers are so long and are like the picture! i guess because you bought it when the burshes first came out before enkore changed them..
