a client gave me an old transceiver today for my testing on beacon and I do not know if it is working or not, my former transceiver cannot be fixed.

I have disinfected the whole thing, check for short circuit in antenna, take out the battery, check voltage ( 0 volts), brush green rusts....no short circuit found in the power supply post.




use dc power supply, and apply 7.5 and start testing the HT, I need to read the instruction manual.




it is twin bands radio and it fits into my AO -51 antenna bracket nicely but that antenna is rather dusty now.
