An excerpt from the last speech given by Rev. Dr. Martian Luther King Jr. He was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee the next day on April 4, 1968.

One of my all-time Heros. I am a white, Christian, 53 year old English dude who stands with fredszczepanski. Wonderful speech by a man who kept his eye on the prize... "I just want to do God's will" and "I have seen the Promised Land". Inspirational and so moving; thank you for posting... God Bless You.

the man was a prophet. And he knew the day was coming. That is why I love this man, as a 55 yr old white dude, today who grew up in the Bronx in the 60's and early 70's. I remeber when he got shot, and will never forget the day or the week.
