@blueguitarblue he was just unhappy because he lost. kind of normal

My tennis knowledge and affinity is for the McEnroe, Connors, Bjorg B, Becker etc. day. Is it just me, or did Sampras look unhappy about having to shake this little pistol's hand?

@LM14921 hewitt is the mustard on the sandwich, safin was the talon on an eagle, agassi is similar to elton john, lebron is the apple of my eye, my mustach is the teardrop of the angel cloud

@awesomerepublican That was his ATP No. 1 match. He was the best player in 1995 although he didn't make the top of the rankings until 1996

@tom10552 Yes, not too many people know this and people always want to compare eras, but can only do what is possible within their particular timeframe.
Rafael Nadal is a healthier version of Muster, who was hit by a drunk driver in 1989--his ACL and MCL in his dominant left knee were damaged, and required surgery. Muster still won a French Open despite his left leg becoming shorter than the other. I do not think that Nadal could be as effective as Muster if he was put through similar trauma.
