My fondest memories of Johnny was when did his "bar walk" back when he was with the Juke J.umpers. He really came into his own later on as a band leader.this is a great VDO 1st time Ive heard of Eric Scortia tho,I have to get caught up! Just a bit of trivia,JR did a brief stint in an early incarnation of SRVaughn and Double Trouble.

I remember hearing Johnny Reno and the Sax maniacs numerous times at the Zoo Bar in Lincoln Nebraska (the countrys oldest continuously open blues bar 1973) back in the early eightys! Boy was he fun , entertaining and high energy! It's sure good to know he's still kicking out the jams...I remember you could always count on him jumping up on the bar and out doing himself every time! I loved the song chicken necks and chicken feet...thanks for posting this!

I love Johnny Reno, he rocks with his sax. I saw him a couple of times in California live on stage with Chris Isaak. Great shows.
