@kolsyrade I kind of agree, that is the advantage that TKD (and Judo) have, you can go anywhere and it is (basically) the same, and a much larger bunch of organization(s).

Yamaki Is awesome, taking on the 100 man kumite and starting up Yamaki Karate, which is pretty much his own Kyokushin.
Now if only he had more than one school...

@MartialKing1996 If karate makes it into the Olympics, it will be the light touch, first-touch "tag" point rules karate (WKF rules), not full-contact or continuous fighting karate.
Knockdown karate like this video (and all other full contact karate versions) is broken up into way too many factions (who refuse to cooperate) to ever have a chance to be let into the olympics.
I know several kyokushin groups are working on Olympic recognitions -but working separately, not jointly.

@mghguys Do you have any particular reason for thinking that, or is it just not the version of karate that you are used to seeing?

@mghguys Sure it is. Why don't either of them have the Kyokushinkai kanji on their dogis, though?

@the0tobes0machine According to tradition in kyokushin word tournament, ALL fighters cover or remove their kyokushin kanji. This dates back to the first WT when there was a lot of guest fighters from other styles. Referees was not to know who came from kyokushin or not (of course they did anyway) to stay unbiased.
Today there are much fewer guest fighters it the WT´s (although there still a few, no matter which kyokushin faction), but the tradition of covering up the kanji on the chest remains.
