@ramio1983 Try telling that to a neo-con. They'll have a field day with you.
-
@samsticka You are right about the government but wrong about Islam, its not this terror filled religion that hates the world and wants to kill all unbelievers, i know that cause i am a Muslim who studies the faith.
-
@ramio1983 I am not a liar. I'm just telling everyone what our government has been telling us since 9/11. THEY are the real liars, not me.
-
@samsticka LMAO nice copy and pasting, i hope people read the verses before and after those ones to see what a stinking liar you are.

Who cares if they do a body scan? It's better than not getting one and getting on a plane with someone who has a bomb shoved up their ass? Get over it.

More and more we are living in a society where everyone is guilty until proven innocent.
-
Soon these things will be everywhere we go: Stadiums, malls, schools, EVERYWHERE. There won't be a place you can go without being groped/scanned by the TSA.

There was a peace treaty between on Muslims and Muslims at that time which was broken by those non Muslims and the order of killing them is IN THE BATTLEFIELD when Muslims were being attacked and killed.
any leader of the army would say this to boost the morale of their team to attack the opponents and kill them. But Quran Also mentioned furthermore in Surah Al Tawbah Ch:9 v.6 "If the enemy wants asylum ,don't just let them go ESCORT THEM TO A LACE OF SECURITY..."

I think they were just being sarcastic assholes in that video, although John Stewart sounded serious he was doing this to show the stupidity of the Islamic phobia the media has been spreading. He even said at the end "its an act everybody we'll be right back" if you seen more of John Stewart's shows before you would know he does this type of silly satire to make Fox noise look bad. I agree with the video all together a study shows that people who watch daily show are more informed than news ppl.
Not that I disagree with your video, representativepress. I think you hit it right on the nose. 9/11 was a result of our policies in the Middle East, not because "they hate our freedoms" as politicians and the media claim. But I do have a question though: Isn't there a verse in the Quran that instructs Muslims to kill all infidels (people who are not Muslim)?

@samsticka No. If you think there is, tell me what verse.

@representativepress Here you go:
On unbelievers is the curse of Allah. - Sura 2:161
Slay them wherever ye find them and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. - 2:191
Make war on them until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme - 8:39

@samsticka Sura 2:161 didn't say anything about killing so I am curios why you included it. Next you listed 2:191 which is talking about reacting to specific people who "drove you out," and does not contain a universal call "instructing Muslims to kill all infidels" My understanding of the other verses was that it was talking bout a time and place against specific people who had wronged them who were not Muslim, not BECAUSE they were no Muslim. Muslims have said it was about to a specific time.

@samsticka In the video info I have a quote from "Al-Qaeda" by Jane Corbin p125 which talkes about motive. Notice he DOESN'T say the guy approached him said something like, "hey you should do as the verse says and kill non-Muslims. If the Koran's verses had said something as you suggest, I find it very hard to believe that reasoning wouldn't be the very first thing the guy would use on the person approached at the Mosque. It defies logic doesn't it? In fact I never heard it used as their reason.

@samsticka I have ONLY heard it suggested by some of the same people who deny the explicate motives stated by bin Laden and others over and over again. Bin Laden called Bush a liar in reaction to the false claims about their motives and went on to once again restate the motives. He never says "well, the Koran says we must kill non-Muslims." He said if Bush is right "why didn't we attack Sweden?" if the "verse instruction" was true, no logic at all for them not to invoke, it defies logic .
