@andygriff1987 I suppose I did have a limited view of English pronunciation.
Although I definitely didn't just go to London.
It was a training camp at the Lilleshal sports centre (some castle in the middle of nowhere).
At that centre there were a few sports with people from around England, and most of the time whenever I would evesdrop I would here the strong accent with the "wiv".
A few people there would pronounce it "with" though.
-
@Soakedboy First, it's "wiv", second, you must have visited London, and that's it. The amount of regional accents and how they pronounce words is surprising in such a small country, I for one say "with" properly, as do the vast majority of my friends. Your experience suggests a limited view of English pronunciation.

@Tree0rnament It is ignorant, because there is no such thing as a British accent. It's an English accent that DB has here, or a Scottish, Irish or Welsh accent. British accent is non-existent. If you told a Scot he was British, he'd probably spark you out.
-
@brownie4492 Well, how is he supposed to know that? A typical person would just speculate that it's how most people say 'with' in England.
I love England but all you Brits do is bitch about "yanks".
-
@soakedboy you manage to visit the whole population of britain on your trip did you ?
-
Most, when I went to England almost every person who said "with" pronounced it "wif" there is a very select few who don't.
Which are usually people who don't have strong roots in England.
-
not all brits u dumass lol
-
That's true David Beckhams free kick is good .
most british people do not say 'wif', becks has a cockney (london) accent which is why he says that you goon
typical ignorant yank
