Hi I'm Kira and I've been dancing for about a year (doing choreographed dances). I'm pretty awful at the moment but I hope to get better. My aim is to try and create a journey of learning and hopefully inspire other people in other countries (in particular the UK) to try and take up streetdance.

Every week, I will try and learn a new technique or master a one I've half learned already. I'm going to start from the very basics again and try to work my way up. In each video I'll only use the techniques I've gone through along my dance journey.

  • If I can comment. Freezing is a lot more about balance and training than it is strength. Most basic stab freezes just require to train your balance and the area where you're stabbing. It will hurt tons at first, but when the area gets used to it, it's all about balance. Strength has little to do with it =]

  • Try smoking some weed and then dancing, i think this will help you out a lot.

  • haha great progress! i could give you a few tips but i've only been bboying for about 2 months so i'm not really in the position to help others. but i highly recommend you improve your form on the 6 step and put more energy into your toprock/uprock. anyways, keep it up!
