    avevo forse 12 anni la prima volta che ho ascoltato questo preludio in vinile suonato da maria claire acquistato con i primi soldini... oggi ne ho 35 suonati e sempre la stessa emozione elevata al quadrato!

  • a mio giudizio una delle più belle composizioni del maestro Johan...sul primo accordo mi si rizzano i peli delle braccia.

    un susseguirsi di scale e il pedale che regna sovrano a riempire ed accompagnare la melodia...magistrale e profondo preludio.sacrale in ogni nota

  • @LadyofMetal16: I agree that the tempo is a bit too slow after my taste (at least in the beginning). But on the other hand it should be majestic (which it certainly is) - I remember seeing a comment at another version of the BWv548 that "many play it as if they had to reach another concert - or maybe the bathroom". So the right tempo should not be much faster. Still, joyful music.

  • Wow, what a beautiful instrument! I find the tempo to be a tad on the slow side though. But I can imagine that within the building the acoustics might call for a slower tempo. Well played nevertheless. Thank you for uploading.
