    I'm going to try this with my cat, too :)

    But please make sure you have the emergency shutoff key thingy readily available. The belt of a treadmill is like a fabric, and could easily catch on a cat's claws. If this were to happen, the treadmill would drag the cat under, ripping off its claw and/or killing it.
