if any of you have ever read or seen The Secret Life of Bees it shows an extremely similar case, where the wife is being beaten by the husband. women who are subjected to domestic abuse just become shells of themselves, barely living. maybe when she kissed her daughter goodbye it was a promise to return and it didn't happen for whatever reason, that happens very often. so before you go judging the wife for leaving her daughter understand that this woman was a VICTIM, she was being abused.
