  • Anyone know how I can see this online? Would love to watch!!

  • DVD release coming early next year!

  • This is beautiful... I'll watch it again and again. And I used to live across the street from Flo's Diner. I miss it lots! But I miss my local record stores WAY more.

  • Fear not, Miss Flo's is still going strong! I miss the record stores too... Thanks for likin' the vid!

  • long live the record store!

  • The music industry is banking on lifestyle now, not music. There's no money in selling music anymore. There's money in lifestyle and branding. One sad word: Emo

For musicians it's a catch 22. The internet is a great way to get music heard but when there's 16 million other bands/artists trying to get heard it's like: What's the point?

  • this documentary is dope & informative (long live the local record store [Vertigo In Grand Rapids,MI],fuck walmart & sam goody)

BY THE WAY I WAS REALLY SHOCKED TO SEE ACTIVIST/AUTHOR NOAM CHOMSKY IN THIS DOCUMENTARY

  • There are so many honest, genuine people in this film it's definitely worth watching.

  • @cauthoncrazy streaming on netflix

  • although i value the notion of the survival of the independent record store! a lot of them overprice their stock where I live, which I find quite silly, simply because the music lover knows their stuff and what's worth what, so someone who finds a copy 5 to 10 bucks cheaper, is a loss for the more expensive retailer, multiply this by 50 customers a month and that means $500 less to pay the shop rent/overheads etc etc, so I say to any shop owner reading this, "meet us halfway and you'll survive".

  • @cauthoncrazy its on Netflix

  • holy shit noam chomsky wtf mateyyyyyyy

  • @cauthoncrazy It's on Netflix! instant play!

  • THIS MOVIE MADE ME WANT TO PUNCH SOMEONE IN THE DICK BECAUSE I DONT WANT MY LOCAL RECORD STORE TO CLOSE

  • @Ldale11

You're using false logic. You're not looking at the buying numbers for good genres, only "new country" (also, I question your sources of information - care to provide them?). That's a biased and incomplete sample, like saying dogs are better than cats because 70% of cats threw up on the carpet at least once. It makes no sense.
