'free market economics' are no such thing. The richest countries dictate the international trade rules by which the poor must abide, and guess who benefits. Would you classify this scenario as 'free trade'? Have you actually watched the film?

This man clearly misspoke when he said 'low price.' He meant wages, because THAT is the issue. As someone with a degree in Economics, I can tell you that wages NEVER adequately reflect their value, and this can be clearly demonstrated in these companies' balance sheets. If you're paying your workers less than $1/day, the massive amounts of profits reflect nominal wages that AREN'T being paid to workers. Pick up a economics book before you make stupid comments my friend.

I think he was saying that to buy Ethiopian coffee would be to aid the groups that control the prices... but that's probably not a good idea.
