If you want to be nice and warm in the fall and winter, check out this biodiesel-powered stove. Just gravity fed, so you have heat during a blackout, and much less polluting than wood stoves.   • Does the stove pipe go all the way up the chimney or just higher than where the damper would be for a wood fireplace ?
